VG+ copy has a very clean cover, upper right corner is a bit soft. VG copy has a very clean cover, small bump at bottom of spine, BC has had a thin strip trimmed from top 2/3 of left edge and a couple of creases in that area. Good copy has creases on FC and a small 1" spot on BC and last page.

v7 #4 has Barbara Thomason lingerie FC, Marla English on inside FC and Marilyn Monroe on inside BC. 1953 from Hillman Periodicals. Great book takes a detailed look at every aspect of this unique subject - from 19th centurty advertising thru early magazine illustrations and the first movie idols to modern day strippers. A big 116 page volume profusely filled with hundreds of photos including 7 pages in color - these include full pg pics of Lili St. Cyr, Nejla Ates, Sheree North and Lilly Chrstine plus pics of Betty Grable and Marilyn Monroe. A very entertaining not to mention truly interesting read!! This was scanned from a copy that was missing its' covers but does contain a smaller version of the Marilyn Monroe FC. All that is missing is the inside FC and the BC.

VG+ copy is in really nice shape but has some rubbing along spine and right edge.

v2 #3 - Issue has very unusual Marilyn Monroe CF/Calendar. Also a full pg color illo by Jack Leynnwood and an article about band leader Stan Kenton.

Marilyn Monroe has a very nice 8 pg feature w/ lots of pics and a short article by Bennett Cerf. Giant, oversize mag is in pretty good shape, a bit of normal wear but no serious defects. There is a small nick on the edge of the last page of Marilyn's feature.

Huge 11" x 15" squarebound softcover. Marilyn Monroe has FC + 20 pgs of pics from the mid 50s in New York - most never before published. Plus a short article about her. Although this is basically new it was stored improperly. My best guess is that it was in a box that was too short and something heavy was placed on top of the box. The book is 'compressed', top 1" has a horizontal roll. Call it Good, but there are 20 pgs of Marilyn!  

Marilyn Monroe tiny pic on FC + last Interview - 7 pgs w/ pics. Princess Diana FC + 7 pg article. Mag has a funny 'feel', like it sat in a mailbox during a rainstorm, but no water marks or staining. Also incomplete - missing pgs 55 - 60, but Marilyn and Diana features are intact.

NEW, Unopened deck sealed in cellophane wrapper. Can't tell too much about them since they ARE sealed. Box says, plastic coated and Made in USA. They look to be 1970s vintage. I can only asume that the back of each card is the same B&W close-up photo as shown on the box. Excellent condition except for discoloraton on the cellophane wrapper from a long lost price sticker.

NEW, Unopened deck sealed in cellophane wrapper. Item #AK 8060 from the U.S. Playing Card Co. (embossed on back of platic box) - most likely 1970s vintage. The deck of cards comes in a plastic box with a black bottom and clear top. The plastic box in turn comes in a cardboard sleeve as shown. I have 2 copies - one w/ a blue cover has some normal wear and a couple of small nicks on FC and one w/ a purple cover that has some normal wear but is missing the color foldout.

By James Spada (1982) - a Dolphin Book from Doubleday & Co. This is an 8 1/2" x 11" squarebound softcover book. Over 200 pgs this is loaded w/ photos including a 16 pg section of gorgeous color pin-ups. Very bright & glossy this has been lightly read. There is a faint vertical stress line at spine from the cover being opened and a VERY TINY bump on bottom right corner.

By Norman Mailer, Photos by Milton H. Greene (1980). This is an oversize 9" x 11 1/2" hardcover book w/ dustjacket from Simon & Schuster. Nearly 300 pgs it is a fictional autobiography and has nearly 100 pgs of photos - not all Marilyn. Book is basically new, dustjacket has a bit of minor wear.

Small water spot on upper right corner and a bit of very light foxing on upper let corner - both well away from Marilyn and not too bad. Otherwise book is solid VG+
