This title was first published in 1942, and like many of the other magazines from that time was in the large 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" format.

By the late 40s it had shrunk to the standard 8 1/2 x 11 size and was squarebound with a glued spine and printed on cheap newsprint type paper. This type of paper does not age well - it tends to become very dry and brittle - so some 'chipping' along edges and on corners is relatively common. Also, the glue on the spines will over time eat away at the paper so some spine damage is also common.

Sometime around the end of 1962 the magazine underwent a transformation and issues from 3/63 onward have a standard stapled spine and are printed on a much better grade of paper.
